St Kiernans 1-10
Thomas Mcuratins 0-08
The senior side made it through to the semi final of the Mcaleeer and Rushe senior football championship with a hard fought win over Thomas Mc who were themselves looking to reach the semi final stage at Ruislip on Saturday , a cagey first half where only 1 point from play was scored saw us going in 2 points down but a strong third quarter turned the game in our favour when we outscored our opponents by 1-03 to no score , a Tom Waters shot coming back off defender and keeper to creep over the line , scores were added by Walsh, Brazil ,Gervin and Waters again to put daylight between the sides and further scores from Gervin and Brazil sealed the tie , again defense outstanding as all year with only 3 scores conceded from play and another clean sheet for Mark Roche in goal .We will face Round Towers in Ruislip on Sunday 10th October with Tir Conaill Gaels and Fulham Irish playing in the other semi final .
Our reserves are also through to the championship semi final after yesterdays draw between St Josephs and North London Shamrocks saw us through in second place , we will face Thomas Mcuratins in Greenford on Saturday 09th of October .
