The week was a tough one both on and off the field as all at the club try to come to terms with the loss of Brendan Moyles ,Our London Born juniors put up a brave fight against a very strong St Clarets side in Ruislip on Tuesday night but went down on a score line of 3-09 to 0-10 with goals at key times costing us , overall though the side is more than holding their own and will have reasonably high hopes for the championship .
Our reserves lost their grip at the top of the league following 2 home defeats to St Josephs (1-12 to 1-06)and Garryowen(2-18 to 4-08) this week and our last game at home to Fulham on Tuesday is now a must win and hope result's go our way , once again though where others are giving walkovers the club continues to send squads out to compete on three levels each week .The senior league game against Fulham Irish was conceded by Fulham thus meaning we receive 2 points from a close rival which is not the way we would like it , we sit at the top of Division 1 with two games against TCG and North London Shamrocks to come .The seniors are in Cup final action on Friday 23rd in Ruislip against TCG (2020 Tipperary cup final ) at 7.30 and they will also provide the opposition on Thursday 29th for the league game in Greenford .
The club will be following the fortunes of the London Juniors closely on Saturday 24th when they face Warwickshire in the All Britain final in Birmingham at 2.00pm so we wish our contingent and all involved the best of luck .
The underage finals at U13&U17 level were both lost to Covid close contacts cases and we await their re fix date , The U11 hosted St Colmcilles for a very competitive game on Wednesday last in Barnet and the girls U14 hosted St Colmcilles and St Josephs on Sunday .
