The seniors lost out in the Tipperary cup to a strong TCG team in Barnet Lane eventually finishing up second in the group to qualify for the Conway Cup semi final against Round Towers on Saturday 03rd of July in Greenford , TCG started strongly and were well ahead at half time , our lads gave a better account of ourselves in the second period but eventually went down by 2-12 to 1-10 .We hope to bounce back this weekend against Round Towers .
The Juniors qualified of their first final in the grade when getting the better of Tara by 1-07 to 0-09 in the semi final , Coalan Doyle was hugely to the fore scoring all but one of our scores and the winner was kicked by Michael English right at the death, we will face St Clarets in the final in a date yet to be confirmed .
The reserves had 10 points to spare over Towers at Barnet Lane on Wednesday 29th with the final score of 2-11 to 1-04, Scratch showing age is no barrier with and end to end performance .We are now 3 wins out of 4 and have further games upcoming this weekend against Shamrocks in Tottenhall and next weekend against Fulham Irish .
All the underage age groups are looking forward to the 125 games this weekend and next weekend in Ruislip where all age groups will get the chance to showcase their skills in the home of London Gaa, best of luck to our U17 team who have qualified for the league final against Tara next week and this team has made huge improvements this term .The club had many attendees on the London U15 teams who played in the All Britain blitz last weekend in Birmingham and all displayed their levels very well .
