The club were proud to host their first games at the new grounds in Barnet Lane yesterday with both juniors and seniors in action, first up the Juniors took on St Anthony's of Reading in Division 3 of the league , after conceding a very early goal we fought our way back in to it to go in level at half time ,a penalty expertly dispatched by Sean Kirwan bringing us level , to be fair to St Anthony's their accuracy and efforts from placed balls always kept their heads in front and despite some late attempts at goal they took the points with a 2 point win on 1-10 to 1-08 , thanks to referee Eddie Naughton for allowing the game to flow. For the juniors its the first game of the season and some cobwebs will have been blown away so on to the next game for them .

The seniors fared better running out easy winners in a one sided clash with Cuchulainns , they set their stall out early and had a commanding 4-14 to 0-1 lead at half time , the management were able to ring the changes in the second period and they will have been very pleased with debutants Philip and David Rogers, Mark Rowland , Paul o Farrell and Aaron Crean .It was a tough day for Cuchulainns and there was little respite in the second half but they finished strongly kicking the last few scores

Final score St K 6-26

Cuchulainns 0-05
